White Plains Baptist Church is working to promote the Kingdom of God! We strive after Education, Encouragement, and Evangelism as we do ministry in our area and abroad..

Education

Providing relevant information to current and future Kingdom Citizens is our goal. This information is not limited strictly to Biblical knowledge. Rather we endeavor to provide teaching that envelope every area of life on Earth. We want to foster growth in every facet of life. This education includes but is not limited to 5 major areas:

Physical and Mental Health
Financial Stability
Family Dynamics
and Professional and Personal Development

Encouragement

Typically, an amorphous term, encouragement is difficult to define. However, we believe it is the driving force behind much of what we do. Education provides information. However, encouragement provides the power to apply what was learned. Education shows what a person can do. Encouragement powers the push to do it. Each Sunday and Wednesday, we endeavor to empower God’s people to shake off fear and follow God’s plan. With Education we inform. With Encouragement, we inspire.

Evangelism

By definition, a disciple is one who not only believes in a particular doctrine, but also shares that doctrine with others. Disciples of Christ not only believe the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, but we also share it with others. At White Plains, we believe that the Great Commission is the primary aim of disciples. The aim of our Education and Encouragement is to develop better disciples for Evangelism. Evangelism is the ultimate culmination of promoting The Kingdom of God.

Our Vision

Utilizing the resources given to us by God, White Plains Baptist Church works to impact the community in three ways.

Sacred Outreach

We work within our membership to spread the Gospel. The Good News of the Kingdom of God is shared in our church and we encourage our members to share it with others in their every day lives.

Community Unity

We work with the other churches in our community to better impact our local community. Teamwork allows us to pool our resources to do good on Staunton Bridge Road.

Divine Partnerships

We work with other organizations to promote the Kingdom of God. If their agenda matches the Agenda of God's Kingdom, then at White Plains, we believe it's our duty to help.
